Ishipron

ACTIVE INGREDIENT: Chlorfluazuron 5% EC.
MODE OF ACTION: Growth regulator. Acts mainly by ingestion.
TOXICOLOGICAL CLASSIFICATION: Class III.

Category:

– Controls the defoliators complex: it is a chitin inhibitor which prevents the normal formation of the cuticle in larvae and pupae, thus affecting the moulting process and allowing the effective control of the larval stages of Lepidoptera.
– It has high respect for beneficial fauna, excellent ecotoxicological profile: Recommended for integrated control programmes due to its high selectivity towards insects whose control is not required, including predators, parasites and other beneficial insects.
– It acts mainly by ingestion, with no significant contact action: lacking systemic activity, its action is limited to the control of defoliating insects and has no effect on sucking insects.
– Although it has no direct adulticidal or ovicidal effect, when applied to the leaf surface prior to oviposition, the eggs deposited on the treated surfaces do not normally hatch.
– Residual action: it has a high residual power; its effect can last for 2 to 3 weeks after application.
– Packaging: 20 L box (4 containers of 5 L each) / 6 L box (6 containers of 5 L each).
