Howler

– HOWLER is an elicitor of the Plant Defense System.
– It is formulated with natural proteins that activate plant defense hormone pathways.
– These are soluble proteins extracted from a strawberry fungal pathogen called Acremonium strictum SS71. When HOWLER is applied, the plant recognizes the protein component of the formulation and activates a cascade of defense events that are initiated at the site of application and then transmitted systemically to the rest of the plant.
– The bio-activation produced by HOWLER can lead to additional effects related to physiological processes such as: photosynthesis, nutrient uptake and distribution, tolerance to abiotic stresses and reproduction through changes in gene expression.
– HOWLER is a product that induces plants to express their maximum defense potential by inducing the production of ethylene, salicylic acid and jasmonic acid, which are responsible for slowing down the advance of necrotrophic/saprophytic and biotrophic pathogens.
-Since HOWLER improves the general condition of the plant, it can perform better against fungal diseases and abiotic stresses.
